For structured voice, data and video cabling implementations, Office Telesystems follows the old adage that its better to do it right the first time. Not doing it right the first time could cost your company far more than it saved by choosing an outdated cable option or design. Utilizing an outdated structured cabling option could cripple a network or VoIP phone system and bring about the wrath of its users. No one wants that! Choosing the right structured voice, data or video cabling design now, even if it costs more initially, will pay dividends that will provide much more in return than initial cost. Employee productivity is just one of the ways you'll see that return. Office Telesystems provides Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A or higher, as well as fiber cabling for Dallas, Fort Worth, the DFW area and nationally for structured voice, data and video options. This includes installation and termination on racks, patch panels, wire management and more. All voice, data and video cabling is tested after installation to ensure you of a reliable installation from the start. Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A and higher options are available and OM3, OM4 and higher fiber cabling options are available for larger bandwidth requirements or for backbone cabling in single and multi mode design. RG6, HDMI and other options are available for video, but many video options are utilizing network cabling options to streamline cabling throughout your facility. Structured voice, data and video cabling is also provided for overhead paging systems, audio visual systems, cloud phone systems, premise based phone systems and other products listed in our Products section.

When looking for a least expensive cabling options, many electrical contractors look at providing voice, data and video cabling as a supplement in their building contracts. However, we often see low grade, outdated cabling and materials provided that end up needing replacement in a very short time and does not even include structured installation and termination. Outdated options can slow your bandwidth and cripple your network or VoIP phone system. Entrust your voice, data and video cabling to Office Telesystems, as we ensure you a professional grade structured cabling solution that will support your needs now and in the future! Why pay for cabling again in just a few years or even less? With bandwidth requirements increasing at an extremely rapid rate, older antiquated cabling will not support your bandwidth requirements in the near future and inhibit productivity of your staff.

Office Telesystems can also provide Wireless Access Point Installation and cabling. This is often done at the same time as other voice, data and video cabling to help reduce costs. We often run overhead paging system cabling at the same time as Wireless Access Point cabling. Ask our expert sales team for more information.

Also, plan your structured voice, data and video cabling project sooner rather than later, especially since most structured cabling needs to be done while in the construction phase of your new or remodeled offices. It could not only save you money, it can possibly help prevent headaches with your structured cabling design later on down the road.

Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7 and Fiber Cabling for Voice, Data and Video Cabling

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), cloud phone systemshybrid VoIP phone systems, audio visual systems, overhead paging systems and network related equipment such as wireless access points utilize the same type of structured voice, data and video cabling in most cases. TV's and other video products utilize the same cat 5e, cat 6, cat 6A, cat 7 or even fiber cabling for its own purpose as well. Even if you have older cat 3 voice grade cable in place, this cable can still be used for analog and digital voice endpoint environments on a hybrid VoiP phone system. When moving to cat 5e, cat 6, cat 6A or cat 7 cabling, your legacy endpoints can be used on these higher grade structured voice or data cabling options as well. It also ensures you that when you do move to VoIP handsets for dual voice and data connectivity in your office, you're ready for them. Any analog devices such as conference speakerphones, faxes, cordless phones and other analog endpoints can work on cat 5e, cat 6 or cat 6A or higher cabling. In your wiring closet, the termination points of choice are patch panels ranging from 12, 24 or 48 ports mounted in wall mounted or floor mounted racks with the appropriate wire management. This provides easy troubleshooting and port relocation when needed, with less service costs long term. Fiber is primarily used as backbone cabling in most networks and can be requited for longer distance connectivity 330 feet or longer. Its also used for longer distance demarcation relocation of carrier services from the MPOE to MDF extension of carrier services. Cat 5, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7 or Higher Jacks for Structured Voice, Data and Video Cabling

For many customers we install cat 5e, cat 6, cat 6A, cat 7 or higher cables to each location for structured voice, data and video cabling. Higher speed cabling is required for higher speed data networks and video requirements. In some cases we install 3, 4 or even 6 plug jacks if you need multiple device connectivity for voice, data, or video
in one spot. As mentioned, one cable could be used for both the VoIP desk phone and data network connection. This can reduce data network and cabling costs. Your structured voice, data and video needs will vary depending on the type phone system and type desk phones you have, along with network requirements for each user. For most office environments, we usually recommend duplex cable drops at each location for phone and data, with a 3rd for video or other device if needed. Cat 6, 6A or higher is recommended for higher speed requirements. HDMI cabling is also available for video applications. As mentioned, fiber is primarily used as a backbone cable and demarc extension in most networks, including VoIP applications. Structured voice, data and video cabling needs to be well thought out and planned in advance. Whichever type structured cabling application you have and whatever type telephone handset your users have, Office Telesystems has the right structured voice, data, or video cabling solution for you.
